About Me

I am highly empathic; I aim to tailor my support to your situation in tandem with your own strategies.

I take a flexible solution focussed approach and I am trained in numerous approaches in counselling and psychotherapy. I am also able to work with couples or family members who are in conflict.

I use evidence based approaches like CBT to help identify and adapt unhelpful patterns of behaviour and I use EFT to help overcome phobias and well as remove limiting beliefs to improve self-esteem and performance at work.

My fee for sessions for couples is £65 per 1 hour session or £85 per 90 minute session available in Bramhall only.

An holistic approach

I will share my approaches with you in order that you can use them to create coping strategies between and after therapy. I take a holistic approach to explore your physical and emotional wellbeing. I tend to use short term solution focussed counselling of six to twelve sessions but can work for a longer time with certain conditions. I can be directive if it is appropriate.

I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and loss. I can work with you to eliminate the ongoing effects of trauma; panic attacks and flashbacks.

I come from a corporate background and working for five years in occupational health I have been able to help many people with problems which are impacting their work, those who feel they are in the wrong job or struggling to juggle work with the rest of their lives. I understand the impact of work related stress, difficult working relationships, career transition, redundancy and retirement on personal wellbeing. I have a wealth of experience helping individuals to manage transition; shifting careers or priorities.

I am trained and use creative forms of counselling for example art, visualisation and mindfulness.

If you would like to talk though what is happening in your life, I am here to listen. If you would like to make changes in your life, I am here to support you.

I offer 60 minute sessions in rooms in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire.
